Located in the heart of the New Jersey/New York metropolitan area, Stevens’ campus is among the most pristine and strategically located universities in the nation. Situated amidst a beautiful, 55-acre, park-like campus in Hoboken, NJ, the university overlooks the Hudson River, and boasts one of the most spectacular views of the entire New York City skyline.

Undergraduate Education:
SSE offers a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Management. The school’s Engineering Management program provides students with the key engineering and technology management skills needed to confidently and effectively join today’s highly skilled workforce. By combining engineering, with technology management and solid business acumen, our students are not only competitive candidates, they are also sought after by industry leaders looking for high quality talent.
Graduate Education:
SSE offers graduate study in the areas of Engineering Management, Enterprise Systems, Financial Engineering, Infrastructure Systems, Software Engineering, Space Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering.
SSE is a recognized leader and preferred provider in the delivery of its graduate level courses to industry and government sponsors, including Lockheed Martin, NASA, IBM, FAA, ITT, BAE, and Nokia to name a few.
Flexible Program Delivery: (Graduate)
SSE programs and courses are delivered in convenient and flexible delivery formats tailored to meet the needs of busy industry and government professionals.
Courses can be taken:
- On-site at various corporate and government locations worldwide, including Stevens new campus location in Washington, DC
- Online via Stevens award-winning WebCampus
- On-Campus in Hoboken, NJ and Washington, DC
Courses offered in multiple delivery formats including:
- Traditional 15 week semesters
- Intensive one week modules, where students complete pre-readings in advance of class, and then complete a ten week project following completion of the instructional week.
- Online through asynchronous delivery
Applied Systems Thinking Institute (ASysT):
The Applied Systems Thinking Institute (ASysT), is a collaborative endeavor of Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER), and the School of Systems & Enterprises (SSE) at Stevens Institute of Technology.
Formed as a new research, development and education initiative, the ASysT Institute emphasizes the application of systems thinking principles to problems of national significance. The national security, homeland security, intelligence, and public safety communities face extraordinary challenges in creating and managing large-scale systems and enterprises. ASysT targets their educational, informational, and research needs.
Many of SSE's Systems Engineering courses are delivered on-site at the ASysT Institute, located in Arlington, VA.
Professional Development Programs
SSE courses can be taken for continuing professional development purposes. Many of our students who are in senior level positions, and/or who already have advanced degrees, choose to take our courses for professional enhancement and know-how, rather than for matriculation.
Our programs and courses are tailored to practitioners and can be taken on-site at industry and government locations, including the Applied Systems Thinking Institute in Arlington, VA, at Stevens campus in Hoboken, NJ, or online via Stevens award-winning WebCampus.
