SSE brings together faculty who are industry experts and practitioners, researchers, and academics, with students who are committed to learning, in a dynamic, diverse and engaged community. SSE faculty possess a wealth of industry and government experience, and expertise across diverse domains, including Aerospace, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Finance and Defense.
Convenient Flexible Delivery Formats
Our programs are delivered in convenient, flexible delivery formats tailored to meet the need of our students.
Our courses are held:
- On-campus at Stevens in Hoboken, NJ,
- Online via Stevens WebCampus
- On-site at industry and government sponsor locations worldwide
Delivery Formats:
- Traditional semesters held one-evening a week for 15 weeks
- Intensive one week modular formats delivered through the School's Systems Design and Operational Effectiveness (SDOE) program
Master's Programs
Stevens Master's degree programs require ten courses, for a minimum of 30 credit hours of course work. A thesis and/or project is required for the Systems Engineering and Enterprise Systems degrees. For the Engineering Management and Financial Engineering degrees a thesis is optional and may be substituted for up to six credit hours of course work. The thesis option is strongly recommended for full-time students receiving financial support in the form of research assistantships or those students planning to pursue doctoral studies.
