CSER 2010 - The Call for Papers Deadline is Extended to December 1, 2009
We invite original research papers addressing any aspect of the Systems Engineering lifecycle. This includes conception, design and architecting, development, modeling and simulation, production, integration, validation, operation and support of these systems. Additional topics include definition of metrics, performance, and improvement methods, assessment and mitigation of risks, definition of critical success factors, and definition of best practices. All papers will be peer reviewed, and if accepted, presented at the conference.
PAPERS ARE ESPECIALLY SOLICITED FOR THE FOLLOWING APPLICATION AREAS OF SYSTEMS ENGINEERING:
- Aerospace and Defense
- Physical and Cyber Infrastructure
- Medical and Health Care
- Maritime and Border Security
- Energy, Environmental, and Transportation
- Business, Financial, and Economy
- Education and Training
IMPORTANT DEADLINES:
Please note, the paper submission deadline has been EXTENDED to December 1, 2009!
- Submission of Full Papers for Peer Review (online submissions only) December 1, 2009
- Submit papers to EDAS.
- Acceptance/Rejection Notification & Author Instructions January 15, 2010
- Submission of Camera-Ready Full Paper February 15, 2010
BASIC PAPER SUBMISSIONS - GUIDELINES:
Submitted papers should not exceed 10 pages in length, including illustrations, and appendices. Follow the template provided below.
The paper will be evaluated for:
- The paper's scope is appropriate for systems engineering.
- The paper has an appropriate research focus and approach and is cogent.
- The paper satisfactorily explains what was done.
- The paper satisfactorily explains why it was done.
- The paper satisfactorily explains the basis for its conclusions.
